Eitan Shvili, "Sharsher", Declares Prime Ministerial Ambition with Crown and Robe
Eitan Shvili, known by the nickname "Sharsher" (Chain), arrived at the Knesset on Sunday wearing a diamond-encrusted crown and robe to submit his new party's list, "Sharsher for Flame and Unity of the People," for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. Shvili, who drew significant attention, presented his party's vision and confidently declared, "I am the next prime minister of the State of Israel."
The party's platform focuses on representation and aid for individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and combat trauma, alongside support for Holocaust survivors, teenagers facing bullying, and expanding the health basket.
Shvili, who identifies as a philanthropist actively assisting soldiers and rebuilt families, emphasized his desire to unite the nation. During the list submission proceedings, Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg jokingly asked Shvili, "Where is the queen?"
Explaining his distinctive attire, Shvili stated that the crown, robe, and diamonds are not mere costumes but part of a unique treatment method he adopted for dealing with PTSD. "It's like a balloon that envelops me. Whoever touches the balloon doesn't reach my body, and then I am protected," he explained.
