Self-Proclaimed 'King' Submits Knesset List in Crown and Diamonds

Eitan Shvili, who calls himself "Chashar" (The Chain), arrived at the Knesset on Monday adorned with a crown, robe, and diamonds to submit his party's list for the upcoming elections. Shvili, who leads the "Chashar for Love and Unity of the People" party, declared his intention to run for Prime Minister, stating, "I am the next Prime Minister of the State of Israel." He explained that his elaborate attire is a unique self-treatment method for his post-traumatic stress disorder, acting as a protective "balloon" around him.

Shvili outlined his party's vision, aiming to be the voice for thousands of individuals suffering from PTSD, as well as supporting combat veterans and their families, Holocaust survivors, children and youth facing bullying, and advocating for life-saving medications. He also highlighted his philanthropic work, donating to soldiers in rehabilitation and their families, emphasizing his goal to unite the people.

When asked by the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Noam Sohlberg, about the "Queen," Shvili revealed that "Queen Tami," a travel agent, is listed as his second-in-command. He expressed his intention to secure a role for her to serve the nation. Shvili also mentioned that Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana had approved his unusual appearance for the submission.
