Israeli Midfielder Gandelman Rejects MLS Offer to Stay in Italy
Israeli national team midfielder Omri Gandelman has turned down a significant offer from a Major League Soccer (MLS) team, opting to remain with his Italian club. Gandelman, who played only one minute in the first two league matches of the season, is determined to fight for a regular starting position.
Despite limited playing time, Gandelman believes in his potential and is unwilling to leave a top-five European league. His current club paid approximately 3 million euros for him just six months ago.
Gandelman joined the Italian team in the summer of 2023 from Belgian club Gent, where he had a notable record of 107 appearances, 33 goals, and 14 assists. Last season, he made 19 appearances for his Italian club, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the league.
