AY Solar Appoints Merav Yitzhaki as CEO to Drive Global Expansion

AY Solar, a company specializing in technological solutions to enhance solar power output, has announced the appointment of Merav Yitzhaki as its new Chief Executive Officer. Yitzhaki, who previously served as AY Solar's Vice President of Business Development and Deputy CEO for the past eight months, played a key role in establishing the company's sales department, developing a new marketing strategy, and forging strategic partnerships.

Her promotion is part of AY Solar's strategic plan to expand its operations significantly in the coming years. The company aims to improve the long-term performance of solar systems and solidify its position in the Israeli market while also developing its international presence. AY Solar is controlled by Blade Ranger, led by Shmulik Yanai.

Shmulik Yanai, the controlling shareholder of Blade Ranger, expressed confidence in Yitzhaki's leadership, stating, "Merav has demonstrated exceptional ability in driving processes, building business operations, and creating significant collaborations with key market players. She brings a combination of managerial experience, business acumen, and the ability to turn strategy into results." He added that her appointment is a natural step for AY Solar's development and expressed certainty that she will lead the company to substantial growth in Israel and international markets.

Yitzhaki brings over 20 years of experience in senior management, business development, marketing, and sales. Previously, she was a co-founder of the financial newspaper Calcalist, where she served for 13 years as VP of Business Development and contributed to building the brand. She also served as CEO of Schwung.

In her new role, Yitzhaki will lead the expansion of AY Solar's collaborations and the development of new growth engines both in Israel and globally.
