Hachotz Yerushalayim Appoints Itzik Asher as CFO Amid Expansion

Urban renewal company Hachotz Yerushalayim has appointed Itzik Asher as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This appointment is part of the company's expansion of its management team and its preparation for several projects transitioning from planning and statutory promotion stages to licensing, financing, and execution phases.

Asher brings over 35 years of experience in managing financial systems for real estate, infrastructure, and construction companies. Previously, he served as CFO for companies including Africa Israel Hotels, Ord, and the Yaacobi Group. In his new role, he will oversee Hachotz Yerushalayim's financial operations and lead financial dealings with banks and funding entities.

Nati Vered, a partner at Amit, Halfon, who advises real estate development firms, commented that Asher's extensive experience in real estate, entrepreneurship, and execution will be a significant asset as Hachotz Yerushalayim enters a crucial development phase. The company is currently expanding its activities, promoting urban renewal complexes in various Jerusalem neighborhoods such as Shmuel HaNavi, Kiryat Yovel, Sanhedria, Ramat Eshkol, Beit Israel, and Jerusalem Center.

Simultaneously, Hachotz Yerushalayim has secured investors and partners for several projects and arranged the necessary financing and capital. CEO Yanki Tzoibel stated that as projects move towards financial stages, Asher's decades of experience are vital for building the professional team to support the company's next phase. Asher himself expressed his goal to build a financial system that supports this growth responsibly and accompanies projects through their execution.
