Big Brother Star Sapir Bar Gίλ Reveals Traumatic Year in New Documentary
Reality television personality Sapir Bar Gίλ is set to reveal the details of what she describes as "the hardest year of her life" in a new documentary airing on Reshet 13. Titled "Sapir Bar Gίλ - The Hardest Year of Her Life," the film will present her perspective on her relationship and subsequent divorce proceedings with fellow "Big Brother" contestant Avraham Eklom.
In a preview of the documentary, Bar Gίλ shared her apprehension about recounting her experiences, stating, "I think people are going to be shocked by what I went through." She added, "I'm not looking for pity, I'm not looking to come out as a victim. I chose to be in the situation, I chose to normalize many things, I chose to ignore many red flags. I also bear some blame."
Bar Gίλ filed a complaint against Eklom over a year ago, accusing him of alleged physical violence, threats, and sexual harassment. The couple met on the reality show. However, in June, it was officially announced that the case had been closed by the prosecution.
Eklom responded to the documentary's announcement via his Instagram account, stating he would not participate in what he called a "circus." He criticized those who continue to spread negativity and attempt to harm his reputation, even after the case was closed. Eklom affirmed he would not cooperate with provocations or media attention, expressing gratitude for the support he has received during difficult times.
