Reality Star Breaks Silence on Divorce Drama With AI-Generated Memes
Former "Big Brother" contestants Sapir Bargil and Avraham Aklom are embroiled in a public divorce dispute, escalating with Aklom's recent social media activity. Ahead of a documentary about Bargil's "hardest year," in which she details alleged mistreatment by Aklom, he posted AI-generated images on Instagram mocking her claims. One image depicted Bargil crying while cooking kebabs, a reference to her accusation that Aklom demanded she cook for him and required her to ask permission for outings.
Aklom also shared an AI image of Bargil surrounded by reporters outside a rabbinical court, accompanying it with a statement. He declared he would not "take part in the circus" and accused unnamed individuals of spreading malice and attempting to harm his reputation, even after a legal case against him was closed. He vowed not to cooperate with provocations or media attention at his expense.
This controversy follows a missed court date. Bargil appeared at the rabbinical court as scheduled for their divorce signing, but Aklom did not, with his reasons unknown. Sources close to Bargil indicated the court might consider sanctions against him, potentially including a travel ban.
Last June, a police investigation against Aklom, initiated by Bargil's complaint, was closed. At the time, Aklom alleged that Bargil had attempted to ruin his life out of greed for money.
