Otzma Yehudit Party Adds Chabad Figure to Election List

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir announced that Yossi Goldberger, a Chabad community activist and co-founder of the "Givat Liubavitch" community in Kfar Chabad and Lod, will be placed in the ninth position on the Otzma Yehudit party's electoral list. This move is intended, in part, to appeal to Chabad and Haredi voters.

Goldberger, 39, is married with four children and is described by Otzma Yehudit as a public figure with experience in community work and assisting individuals and the community. In recent years, he has served as an advisor to ministers and Knesset members, working to advance projects with various government ministries and authorities.

Ben-Gvir welcomed Goldberger's addition to the party, stating, "Yossi is a vigorous man of action, with a big heart, who knows the Haredi public and its needs well. He has proven over the years that he knows how to open doors, help people, and bring results." The Otzma Yehudit chairman added that he views Goldberger as a representative of the Haredi public on the party's list, expressing confidence that he will be a loyal and strong representative for the Haredi community in the next Knesset.
