Otzma Yehudit Party Reserves First Ultra-Orthodox Representative

Otzma Yehudit party leader and Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir announced Monday that Yossi Goldberger will be placed ninth on the party's list for the upcoming Knesset elections. This marks the first time the party has reserved a spot for an ultra-Orthodox representative.

Goldberger, 39, is a married father of four and a public figure within the ultra-Orthodox community, with experience assisting individuals and communities. In recent years, he served as an advisor to ministers and Knesset members, working to advance projects with government ministries and local authorities for constituents and communities. He is known within ultra-Orthodox circles, including among institution managers and public representatives.

Within his role, Goldberger connected individuals from the ultra-Orthodox public with party ministers and representatives, aiding in the advancement of their requests to government ministries and various authorities. Ben-Gvir welcomed Goldberger's inclusion, stating, "Yossi is a vigorous doer, with a big heart, who knows the ultra-Orthodox public and its needs very well. He has proven over the years that he knows how to open doors, help people, and bring results."

Ben-Gvir added, "I am happy he is joining our team and am confident he will be a loyal and strong representative for the ultra-Orthodox public in the next Knesset."
