Israel Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure in Lebanon After Drone Attack
The Israeli military announced it struck Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon in response to two explosive drones targeting Israeli forces in the security zone. The drones were launched overnight towards Israeli troops operating on the Ali Taher ridge, with no Israeli casualties reported.
Immediately following the drone launch, the IDF retaliated by attacking several Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon, including a weapons storage facility. Additionally, Israeli forces targeted several militants identified as transferring weapons in the area of Kfar Rouman to neutralize the threat to their troops.
Prior to these strikes, measures were taken to minimize harm to uninvolved individuals, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. The military is investigating a claim that several uninvolved individuals were harmed as a result of the attacks.
Furthermore, following the drone launches on Sunday, the IDF conducted strikes in the Nabatieh area, eliminating several Hezbollah militants. The military stated it will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or its forces and will continue to act to remove threats while adhering to the ceasefire agreement.
