Israel Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon After Drone Attack

Hezbollah terrorists launched two explosive drones toward Israeli forces operating on the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon overnight between Sunday and Monday. No Israeli soldiers were injured in the attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated. In response, the IDF carried out strikes against Hezbollah terror infrastructure in several areas of southern Lebanon, including an arms depot. Simultaneously, the IDF targeted several terrorists identified transferring weapons in the village of Roumanieh, aiming to neutralize the threat to soldiers. Additionally, IDF forces attacked targets in the Nabatieh area, eliminating several Hezbollah operatives in retaliation for the drone launches from the previous day. The IDF emphasized that measures were taken to prevent civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions and aerial observation, and that an investigation is underway into claims of civilian injuries resulting from the strikes. The military affirmed its commitment to preventing Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians and forces, and to removing threats while adhering to the ceasefire agreement.
