Minister Miki Golan Announces Break from Politics

Minister Miki Golan has announced she will be taking a "time out" for herself, following reports that the Otzma Yehudit party offered her a reserved spot on their Knesset list. Golan clarified that while party leader Itamar Ben-Gvir approached her with the offer to join the Otzma Yehudit list for the 26th Knesset, she declined.

Golan stated she expressed her appreciation for Ben-Gvir but reiterated that her political path remains with the Likud party. She indicated this decision was made despite alleged efforts to undermine her before the Likud primaries. "I feel this is the right time for me to take a break for myself. Remember - everything, but everything is for the best! Am Yisrael Chai," she stated.

Otzma Yehudit officially confirmed Golan will not be joining their Knesset list and wished her success. "We greatly appreciate and love Minister Miki Golan. We wish her much success on her future path," the party said in a statement.
