Arab and Other Parties Submit Knesset Election Slates

The United Arab List, led by Dr. Mansour Abbas, submitted its slate of candidates to the Central Elections Committee on Monday for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. Abbas stated that the party continues its approach of serving Arab citizens, halting home demolitions in the Negev, and preserving the right to life. The submission process for election slates began on Monday and will continue Tuesday. Several parties are engaged in coalition talks, with pressure on smaller right-wing parties to unite. On the right, Bezalel Smotrich announced an alliance with Moshe Feiglin, while Itamar Ben-Gvir has refused to join Smotrich. In the Arab political sphere, the United Arab List's slate includes Mansour Abbas as the first candidate, followed by Yoav Segalovitz, Walid Taha, Walid Al-Huashla, Iman Khatib Yassin, Yasser Hajrat, Ibrahim Al-Touri, Abdelkarim Masri, Abdelkarim Azzam, and Ibrahim Abu Laban. The Joint List's formation remains uncertain due to internal disputes, and the 'All of Us Are Equal' party's attempt to join is also undecided. The 'Yesh Atid' party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, also submitted its papers, requesting the letters 'DRH' for representation. The 'Partnership for All' party, headed by Talal Al-Qarinawi, presented its list, with candidate Abdullah Abu Ghanem emphasizing the need for change and a strong Arab voice in the Knesset. The 'Together We Succeed' party, led by Avi Shaked, and the 'Pirates' party also submitted their slates. The 'Pirates' stated their intention was to celebrate democracy and encouraged voter participation, noting that Arab voters are included in their list despite not meeting the electoral threshold. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also submitted his party's list.
