Israeli Parties Submit Knesset Lists as Deadline Looms

The first day for submitting candidate lists for the 26th Knesset concluded with several parties finalizing their slates, though major parties like Likud and Religious Zionism have yet to do so. The deadline for submissions continues Tuesday, with final political maneuvers expected before it closes.

Notable among the day's developments was the merger of Yoaz Hendel's "Reservists" party with Professor Yaron Zelekha's party and Dr. Einat Wilf's "Oz" party. Hendel will lead the combined list, followed by Zelekha and Wilf.

Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, also submitted its list, with Tali Gottlieb joining after her term with Likud. Former IDF Brigadier General (res.)
