Hasidic Music Stars Release "Chosson Torah" Single for Acclaimed Entertainer

A collective of prominent Hasidic singers has released a special single titled "Chosson Torah" (Bridegroom of the Torah) to celebrate Akiva Blum, a well-known entertainer who frequently performs at events and celebrations. The song marks both Blum's upcoming wedding and the dedication of a new Torah scroll written in his honor.

The project features artists who regularly perform alongside Blum, including Aharale Samet, Oshi Frosh, Yoely Davidowitz, Moti Goldman, and Meilech Fogel. The single aims to reciprocate the joy Blum brings to audiences, earning him the moniker "Mesameach Rachavot" (one who makes the dance floor happy).

The composition is by Abimi Schiff, who also performs on the track. Sandy Steiner contributed Yiddish lyrics and a vocal performance, maintaining the traditional Hasidic depth of the piece. Shloimy Levy handled the musical arrangement and production, blending traditional Hasidic sounds with contemporary energy, while Jonathan Blau mixed the track for a polished sound.

The project also includes an animated music video designed by Shmulik Eisenbach. Israel Rosen is managing public relations and media outreach for the single. The collaboration is described as a tribute reflecting the respect and affection Blum's colleagues hold for him.
