Maccabi Tel Aviv Midfielder Loaned to Greek Club Volos with Purchase Option

Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Kervin Andrade is reportedly set to join Greek Super League club Volos on loan, with the Israeli club including a purchase option in the deal. According to Greek media reports, Volos would have the option to buy Andrade for 1.6 million euros, while Maccabi Tel Aviv would retain 20% of any future sale.

However, the move's feasibility is questioned given Volos's transfer history. Transfermarkt data indicates the Greek club has never purchased a player for more than 600,000 euros and typically signs players on loan or as free agents. Andrade himself was acquired by Maccabi Tel Aviv for 1.8 million euros.

Andrade, 21, has struggled to make an impact since joining Maccabi Tel Aviv, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 28 league appearances last season. This season, he has played only six minutes as a substitute in a European match against CSKA Sofia. The club has informed him that a loan move would be beneficial for his development and playing time.

Despite the loan move to Greece, Andrade has reportedly rejected other offers from Europe, preferring a return to his native Brazil, where he previously played for Fortaleza. Andrade's contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv is still active.
