Top Rabbis to Sign 'Guaranteed Life' Vouchers for Charity Donors

Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, a special rabbinical court will convene at the home of Rabbi David Landau to sign "Guaranteed Life" vouchers for donors to the "Kupat Ha'ir" charity. This event, taking place just before the Day of Judgment, aims to offer spiritual protection and blessings for the upcoming Jewish year, תשפ"ז (2026-2027).

The initiative, promoted as a way to secure a "good and blessed year" amidst national hardship, emphasizes the traditional Jewish concepts of repentance, prayer, and charity as means to avert harsh decrees. Participants who donate to Kupat Ha'ir will have their names presented to the rabbinical court, where prominent rabbis will perform a ritual to annul curses and offer prayers for the donors' spiritual and material well-being.

The court is expected to include Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, Rabbi David Landau, Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rabbi Shimon Galai, Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg, Rabbi Shimon Steinman, Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Edelstein, Rabbi Shlomo Tzvi Rosenblatt, Rabbi Moshe ben Shimon, and Rabbi Nachman Zochovsky, among other leading Torah scholars.

Following the prayer ceremony, the rabbis will sign individual "Guaranteed Life" vouchers for donors who commit to regular monthly contributions. These vouchers will pledge blessings of abundance, success, health, joy, and prosperity for the donors and their families, as a reward for their support of needy families and Torah scholars through Kupat Ha'ir.
