Israeli Seriously Wounded in West Bank Stabbing Attack
The Israeli military reported on Monday morning that an attempted stabbing attack occurred near the village of Aserin, south of Nablus, in the West Bank. Military forces were dispatched to the scene as details were being investigated. Channel 15 reported that an Israeli national sustained serious injuries in the stabbing, which took place in the northern West Bank, also referred to as Samaria. The assailant reportedly fled the scene.
According to Kan news, the attack occurred at the "Havot Ma'oz Yehuda" outpost near Aserin. The perpetrator arrived by car and stabbed a settler in the hand before escaping. A large military force was deployed to the area. Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper indicated that the victim's condition ranged from moderate to serious.
