Israeli Man Stabbed in West Bank; Terrorist Flees, Villages Locked Down

JDNReligious
Translated & summarized from JDN by baba
The story · English

An Israeli man was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack near the village of Ozrin in the West Bank on Monday. The victim, described as being in his early 20s, was reportedly approached by the assailant at a farm, identified as Ma'oz Yehuda. After a brief conversation, the attacker pulled out a knife and stabbed the resident multiple times in the upper body and arm before fleeing the scene.

Emergency medical teams, including MDA paramedics and IDF medical personnel, provided initial treatment to the victim, who was conscious and suffering from several stab wounds. He was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in a condition described as moderate to severe.

Following the attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a manhunt for the perpetrator and imposed a lockdown, or 'keter,' on the surrounding villages. Numerous IDF troops were deployed to the area to conduct searches and pursue the suspect. Security forces from the Judea and Samaria (Shai) district were also dispatched to the scene.
