Israeli Strikes Kill Infant, Injure Ten in Southern Lebanon

Rescue teams in the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Rumman recovered the body of an infant and treated ten civilians for injuries following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a building early Monday morning, according to the National News Agency. Israeli warplanes also conducted a series of raids on Kfar Rumman, Arabsalim, and Nabatieh Al-Fawqa. Additionally, a drone targeted an ambulance belonging to the Al-Resala Association in Kfar Rumman, causing several casualties.

Another Israeli airstrike hit a building in the town of Deir az-Zahrani shortly after the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning for the area. These strikes coincided with intense artillery shelling on the outskirts of the Nabatieh region, Kfar Rumman, Jabal al-Rafi, and Tula al-Dabsha, amid ongoing Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon and alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, reported that the cumulative toll of Israeli aggression from March 2 to September 6 has reached 4,362 killed and 12,378 wounded. The overall death toll since October 8, 2023, has risen to 8,929 killed and 30,614 wounded.
