Taibe Education Department Addresses Relocation of Al-Iman Kindergartens
The Taibe Municipality's Education Department has clarified the circumstances surrounding the relocation of the Al-Iman kindergartens to a new site, emphasizing the safety and well-being of the children. The department stated that the kindergarten teachers were informed of the decision to move at the beginning of the summer vacation.
The relocation was prompted by several professional and educational reasons. Primarily, the current Al-Iman building was only a temporary location, originally intended for a special education school. As the municipality finalized the necessary procedures and approvals from the Ministry of Education to open the special education school, the kindergarten teachers were notified to vacate the premises and move to an alternative site suitable for all educational frameworks.
The municipality took responsibility for finding a suitable alternative location, ensuring it met all security, safety, and protection requirements, in coordination with the relevant authorities at the Ministry of Education. The new site's classrooms and building were prepared and inspected by the security officer for the Ministry of Education's Central District, receiving the necessary safety and security approvals.
During a final inspection, the security officer identified several technical points that needed to be addressed. The municipality and the contractor have begun implementing these requirements urgently and are working to complete all necessary procedures as soon as possible. The department assured parents and teachers that the children's safety is their top priority and that all actions taken are aimed at providing a secure and appropriate educational environment.
The department reiterated its commitment to completing the remaining work swiftly to ensure the best possible conditions for the children. They expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of parents and teachers, affirming that the education department remains open to their feedback and inquiries to work together for the children's future.
