Taibe Residents Question City's Neglect of School Zone Crosswalks

Residents of the city of Taibe have expressed surprise and concern over the municipality's failure to repaint pedestrian crosswalks in the city's streets, despite the start of the new academic year 2026-2027. One resident told Panet and Hala TV that repainting crosswalks is a basic necessity that the municipality should ensure, especially in areas near schools. The resident stated, "We expected the municipality to repaint these crosswalks at the beginning of the school year, but unfortunately, this has not happened." The resident added, "The Taibe municipality must carry out this work immediately, as the safety of our children is a red line."

The residents are calling on the municipality to address the issue promptly, emphasizing the importance of clear and visible crosswalks for student safety.
