WeSure Launches AI Chatbot 'Shuri' for Car Insurance Quotes
Digital insurance company WeSure has introduced a new AI chatbot named 'Shuri' on its official website, designed to provide customers with full car insurance quotes. Unlike traditional digital processes that rely on forms or predefined questions, 'Shuri' allows users to engage in a free-form conversation, either via text chat or voice, mimicking interaction with a human agent.
The AI understands user responses, asks necessary questions, answers inquiries, and tailors the process based on the information provided, ultimately generating a quote. The technology behind 'Shuri' was developed in-house by WeSure, enabling the company to integrate it directly into its core systems and workflows.
This initiative is part of WeSure's broader strategy to make insurance products more accessible through artificial intelligence. The company aims to move beyond integrating AI tools into existing interfaces and instead build entire insurance processes around the technology, making insurance simpler and more intuitive for consumers. This aligns with a growing consumer preference for immediate, convenient service across various sectors, including entertainment, travel, and healthcare, a trend now extending to the insurance industry.
'Shuri' is one of several AI solutions being developed by WeSure. Some are already operational, streamlining processes in claims, operations, customer service, and control. Further solutions are in development and will be integrated throughout the insurance policy lifecycle, from purchase to claims handling. Additionally, WeSure offers car insurance quotes via WhatsApp.

Shahar highlighted that this is more than just a new bot; it represents WeSure's vision of building AI-based insurance processes to make insurance simpler, more accessible, and intuitive.
