Suspect in Grenade Attack Arrested After Months on the Run
Police in the Tel Aviv district arrested a 33-year-old man on Friday who had been evading capture for several months. The suspect was part of a gang involved in violent incidents and weapons offenses across the Gush Dan region.
On May 26, a fragmentation grenade was thrown at a business in the Neve Rabin neighborhood of Or Yehuda, injuring five civilians to varying degrees. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest and indictment of three individuals.
The arrested suspect is believed to be the fourth member of the group, who had been a fugitive until his apprehension this week.
