Police Discover 10 Hand Grenades Hidden in Motorcycle After Crash

Police in Israel's Western Galilee region discovered 10 hand grenades concealed within a motorcycle involved in a traffic accident. The incident occurred on the road between the towns of Yarka and Abu Snan. Officers from the Western Galilee police station had set up a checkpoint when they observed a collision between a car and an unlicensed motorcycle. The motorcycle's rider fled the scene following the crash, leaving behind two suspicious bags. A bomb disposal expert was called to safely remove the grenades, which were then taken for evidence. The motorcycle was impounded. Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect who fled. Authorities stated that the swift seizure of the weapons prevented them from falling into other hands and averted a significant danger to public safety.
