Actor Naor Zion Slams Sara Netanyahu's Interview as 'Terrible Propaganda'

Israeli actor and director Naor Zion has publicly criticized an interview given by Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to Channel 14 journalist Tal Meir. In the interview, Netanyahu discussed her life with the Prime Minister, public criticism, her husband's trial, the October 7th events, and the upcoming elections.

Zion, in an Instagram video, called the interview "terrible propaganda" and stated it harms the Likud party. He questioned who advised Netanyahu to conduct the interview, particularly criticizing attempts to discredit politician Yair Golan and his actions on October 7th. Zion asserted his own deep knowledge of the events, citing his ongoing documentary project about Kibbutz Be'eri and the October 7th massacre.

He further condemned what he described as political agendas driving conspiracy theories against individuals who acted heroically on October 7th. Zion specifically defended Yair Golan, stating he had thoroughly investigated Golan's actions and found them to be heroic, regardless of political views. Zion also expressed admiration for MK Almog Cohen's bravery in Ofakim on October 7th, vowing to salute anyone who fought bravely, irrespective of their political affiliation.
