Eyal Berkovich Slams Sara Netanyahu's 'Disturbed' Nature on TV

Israeli media personality Eyal Berkovich, formerly a soccer player and analyst, has intensified his criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wife, Sara Netanyahu, during a television appearance. Berkovich, known for his direct and unfiltered style, questioned why the public has to "suffer" the presence of Sara Netanyahu and her family, describing her as "disturbed" and criticizing the "ugliness" he perceives, clarifying he refers to inner ugliness.

Berkovich's remarks come amid a public controversy sparked by an interview Sara Netanyahu gave to Channel 14. In the interview, she allegedly linked Yair Golan, a prominent Israeli politician, to a severe betrayal conspiracy on the morning of October 7th. This accusation led Golan to demand an apology and threaten a NIS 2.5 million defamation lawsuit.

Sara Netanyahu responded by sending a counter-warning letter, claiming she was wronged and demanding an apology from Golan, or threatening to sue him for NIS 1 million. The situation appears to be escalating towards a prolonged legal battle.

During his current affairs show on Channel 14, co-hosted with Moria Asraf, Berkovich also questioned how "25 mandates" (referring to the number of Knesset seats held by the Likud party) could tolerate the situation. His co-host responded with laughter, correcting him that not all 25 mandates agree with the situation and that the party does not hold 25 mandates.
