Grieving Father Demands Answers on Son's Hamas Captivity Death

Michel Illouz, the father of Guy Illouz, who was abducted and murdered while held captive by Hamas, delivered an emotional speech at an anti-government rally in Tel Aviv's Habima Square. Illouz recounted the devastating impact of October 7th on his life, stating, "My life changed forever." He expressed the profound pain of having to say, "They kidnapped my child. They murdered my child," a reality he shares with "hundreds of families."

Addressing the crowd, Illouz posed a direct question: "Who will give us the answers?" He urgently called for the establishment of a state commission of inquiry, emphasizing that it must be independent and unbiased. The rally highlighted the ongoing anguish and demand for accountability from families of hostages and victims of the October 7th attacks.
