Selichot Service Held at Ohr Avraham Institutions in Bnei Brak

A spiritual Selichot (penitential prayers) service took place at the Ohr Avraham institutions in the Kiryat Herzog neighborhood of Bnei Brak. The event was led by the head of the institutions and local rabbinical authority, Rabbi Moshe Hazzkiahu, and included the participation of Rabbi Masoud Ben Shimon, the Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak.

Prominent rabbis delivered speeches emphasizing the importance of the days of mercy and forgiveness and the spiritual preparation needed for the High Holy Days. Also in attendance were Deputy Mayor and head of the Education portfolio, Rabbi Shlomo Elharar, along with other city officials and institutional leaders, including Rabbis Meir and Shimon Hazzkiahu.

City representatives highlighted the institution's significance as a focal point for residents of Kiryat Herzog and the surrounding area, praising its extensive educational and community activities. The highlight of the event was the participation of hundreds of children from the institutions, who gathered to recite the Selichot prayers with devotion as part of their preparation for Rosh Hashanah and the High Holy Days.

Following the prayers and speeches, the children received ice cream as a gesture of joy and affection, leaving the event feeling spiritually uplifted ahead of the upcoming High Holy Days.
