Russian Forces Strike Israeli Company Teva's Ukrainian Warehouse Twice

Russian forces conducted two strikes targeting the warehouse facilities of Teva Pharmaceuticals' Ukrainian branch, according to reports. The Israeli pharmaceutical giant officially confirmed the attacks, stating that while no employees were harmed, the extent of the material damage is still being assessed. Teva emphasized that its specialists are evaluating the destruction and working to prevent disruptions in medication supply, prioritizing employee safety and offering support to affected staff. The company also pledged to maintain market stability.

Ukrainian media reported the incident occurred on September 3rd. The strikes also significantly damaged the warehouses of another major pharmaceutical company, Biocon, destroying substantial quantities of medicines. Experts estimate the total losses for Ukraine's pharmaceutical sector could reach billions of hryvnias.

Teva's Ukrainian division, headquartered in Kyiv, is a leading player in the local market and ranks among the country's top three pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company employs over 350 specialists involved in the supply and production of hundreds of different medications.
