Gidi Kanyuk has terminated his contract with Hapoel Ramat Gan, according to an initial report. The club’s captain from last season will not remain with the newly promoted side in the Israeli Premier League, despite helping it reach the top flight.
Kanyuk is currently considering offers from both Israel and abroad. The 33-year-old midfielder joined Hapoel Ramat Gan from Beitar Jerusalem in September 2023 and scored 18 goals in 95 appearances for the team.
Before that, he played for Hapoel Haifa, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Petah Tikva. If he moves overseas, it will not be his first experience outside Israel. He has previously played in Uzbekistan and for three clubs in Thailand.
