Gidi Kanyuk leaves Hapoel Ramat Gan after promotion season
Gidi Kanyuk has terminated his contract with Hapoel Ramat Gan and will not stay with the club in the Israeli Premier League next season. The 33-year-old was the team captain in its promotion campaign and has offers from clubs in Israel and abroad.
Kanyuk joined Hapoel Ramat Gan from Beitar Jerusalem in September 2023. In his time with the Reds, he scored 18 goals in 95 appearances and helped them win promotion to the top division.
Before arriving in Ramat Gan, the midfielder also played for Hapoel Haifa, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Petah Tikva. If he moves overseas again, it would not be his first stint outside Israel, as he previously played in Uzbekistan and for three clubs in Thailand.
