New Public Shelters Installed in Kiryat Ono During Peacetime

The Kiryat Ono Municipality completed the installation of two new public shelters in the city on Tuesday morning. This action is part of the municipality's ongoing work plan to enhance urban preparedness during peacetime, without any changes to Home Front Command directives or daily life in the city. One shelter was placed on Truman Street, near Truman Garden, and the second was installed in the municipal Sportek parking lot.

To facilitate the installation on Truman Street, Los Angeles Street was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions. The work concluded as scheduled. This initiative is part of the municipality's broader efforts in security and emergency preparedness, aiming to expand the deployment of protective measures in public spaces and ensure accessible responses when needed.

The municipality expressed gratitude to residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction, as well as to the teams from the Security, Supervision, and Emergency Department, the Maintenance Department, the Engineering Department, and all other involved parties.
