Twenty New Families Settle in Northern Samaria's Hermesh

The settlement of Hermesh in northern Samaria is expanding with the arrival of 20 new families, comprising dozens of children. The families were welcomed at a festive ceremony attended by residents and public figures.

In response to the influx of new residents, a new caravan neighborhood was established in Hermesh in cooperation with the Amana movement. A kindergarten and daycare center were also opened to serve the children of these families.

The absorption of the 20 families is part of a broader settlement initiative led by the Samaria Regional Council in northern Samaria. This initiative aims to expand and strengthen existing settlements while also establishing new ones in the region.

Josie Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, congratulated the new families, stating, "We salute the settlement veterans who overcame terror and difficulties. Settlement here is the beating heart of the land. Hermesh will be a huge settlement full of children and construction. Today, we see with our own eyes how the vision of settlement becomes a living reality." He added, "The arrival of 20 new families in Hermesh in one day is a clear statement from the people of Israel, we are here to deepen our roots, to build and be built. The momentum of construction and expansion of settlements in northern Samaria is the most triumphant Zionist answer. The land of the Bible calls its children, and they are returning to it with joy and strength."
