First Caravans Arrive to Establish New Settlement Noa in Northern Samaria

The establishment of the new settlement Noa in northern Samaria is advancing rapidly, with the first caravans arriving this morning at the site south of Ganim and Kadim. This location will host a pioneering group of families forming a new community in the heart of northern Samaria. Noa is the eighth settlement founded by the Shomron Regional Council in less than a year, marking an unprecedented wave of settlement activity aimed at revitalizing the area and restoring communities uprooted during the disengagement plan.

Noa is designed to connect the isolated settlements of Ganim and Kadim, creating a continuous, stable, and thriving settlement bloc. The arrival of the caravans is a key step in preparing the area for the families’ move and the establishment of a permanent settlement. This effort is part of the "Connection Plan" led by Shomron Regional Council head Yossi Dagan in partnership with the Amana movement, aiming to build 19 new settlements to replace the four that were evacuated in northern Samaria during the disengagement.

The settlements are being established under government decisions led by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. Yossi Dagan called the day historic, highlighting the rapid pace of settlement construction and the transformation of a long-held dream into reality. He thanked all partners involved, including the Amana movement, government ministers, council teams, and the pioneering families who have committed to this national and historic mission.

One of the new settlers, Hannah Landman, expressed excitement about the arrival of the caravans, emphasizing the community’s goal to build a vibrant settlement full of families and children that will strengthen Jewish settlement and strategic presence in the region.
