Twenty New Families Move to Hermesh Settlement in Northern Samaria

Twenty new families, including dozens of children, have moved into the settlement of Hermesh in northern Samaria as part of an expansion plan. A new neighborhood, consisting of mobile homes built in cooperation with the Amana movement, was established to accommodate the new residents. Following their arrival, a kindergarten and daycare center were opened in Hermesh to serve the growing community.

This move is part of a broader initiative to strengthen existing settlements and establish new ones in the northern Samaria region. The "Connection Plan," promoted by the Samaria Regional Council and the Amana movement, aims to expand Israeli settlement in the area, in line with government decisions.

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan stated at a ceremony marking the families' arrival that this signifies the continued growth of the settlement and the region. "The arrival of twenty new families to the settlement of Hermesh in one day is a clear statement from the people of Israel, we are here to deepen our roots, to build and be built," Dagan said.
