IDF Forces Kill Two Terrorists During Sheep Theft Recovery in West Bank

Israeli forces operating in the village of al-Muwaijir, in the Benjamin region, killed two Palestinian militants during an operation to recover stolen livestock. The troops were responding to a report of a gang that regularly targets farms in the area, and were attempting to retrieve sheep and goats stolen from Jewish residents.

During the operation, dozens of villagers emerged and threw stones at the soldiers, endangering their lives. In response, the forces opened fire with live ammunition. Two militants were killed, and another was seriously injured. A 17-year-old militant who threw stones and participated in the riots was arrested and transferred to the Benjamin police station.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces successfully recovered 13 goats and 6 sheep, returning them to their Jewish owner. Two additional sheep were killed by the rioters during the incident.

Following the killings, residents of al-Muwaijir have reportedly incited violence and issued threats against Avitar Karo, the owner of the "Mitzpe David" farm, from whom the flock was stolen. Karo has been targeted by militants in recent weeks due to his activities at the farm, with the militants launching a series of violent attacks and harassment incidents against him and nearby settlement points.
