IDF Secures Return of Israeli Livestock from Palestinian Village
Earlier on Wednesday evening, Israeli military forces provided security for the entry of police officers and a civilian into the Palestinian village of Al-Mughayyir, located in the Binyamin Brigade area of the West Bank. The operation was conducted to facilitate the return of livestock belonging to Israeli civilians that had been found within the village. The animals were identified as belonging to Israelis based on distinguishing marks.
During the operation, a violent disturbance erupted. The IDF reported that "terrorists" threw blocks and stones at the forces. In response, soldiers fired towards "central instigators" to neutralize the threat, and hits were confirmed. The events leading up to and during the incident are currently under review.
