Kourtney Kardashian Reveals She Lost a Baby Before Rocky’s Birth
Kourtney Kardashian revealed in a new documentary that she and Travis Barker lost a pregnancy early in their relationship. The film, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, premiered Saturday at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and focuses on Barker’s life over seven years, including a deadly plane crash he survived, addiction, recovery, and his marriage to Kardashian.
In one emotional segment, Kardashian says she became pregnant about six months after the couple began dating, but doctors later told them the baby had no heartbeat. They had expected a girl and had already chosen the name Tulip, but in the third month of pregnancy they learned her heart had stopped. Kardashian says in the film, “We lost the baby, we are broken.”
Kardashian and Barker became a couple in 2021 and married in May 2022. The documentary also covers their repeated attempts to conceive again through IVF, which did not work. In June 2023, Kardashian announced another pregnancy in her own very public way, holding up a sign at one of Barker’s performances that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.” Their son Rocky was born five months later, in November 2023.
Kardashian has three children with ex-partner Scott Disick, Mason, 16, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 11. Barker has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Landon, 22, and Alabama, 19.
