IDF Strikes Hamas Commander in Northern Gaza to Neutralize Immediate Threat
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that it targeted and eliminated a Hamas military wing commander in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. The strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.
According to the IDF, the targeted individual had recently been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. He was also reportedly working to restore the organization's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire.
The IDF stated that forces from the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with agreements and will continue to operate to remove any threats. The operation aimed to remove the immediate threat posed by the commander.
