Hapoel Ramat Gan in talks with Maksim Paskochenko, close to signing goalkeeper Sherif Keouf

Freshly promoted Hapoel Ramat Gan is moving to strengthen its squad for the coming season. Over the next day, the club is expected to announce goalkeeper Sherif Keouf, who will join on loan from Maccabi Haifa. Keouf had already agreed terms with Ramat Gan last week, but he is still waiting for final approval from Maccabi Haifa. He also drew interest from Kiryat Shmona and Bnei Sakhnin, but chose Ramat Gan in order to play under coach Masai Dego, who gave him his top-flight opportunity.

Ramat Gan officials are also set to meet today with Maksim Paskochenko, who has finished his contract with Maccabi Netanya. The club will try to reach an agreement with the midfielder, who is expected to be an important piece in the center of the pitch. The team is simultaneously searching for foreign signings to form the core of the roster, alongside Israeli players and those remaining from last season.

Among the players who will stay are David Asenka, Nir Berda, Dudi Tuito, and goalkeeper Amit Raif.
