Hapoel Ramat Gan near deals for Sheriff Keyoff and Maksim Falkoushchenko
Freshly promoted Hapoel Ramat Gan is moving quickly to strengthen its squad for the coming season. Within the next day, the club is expected to present new goalkeeper Sheriff Keyoff, who will join on loan from Maccabi Haifa. Keyoff already agreed terms with the club last week, but he is still waiting for final approval from Maccabi Haifa to complete the loan.
Keyoff drew interest from Ironi Kiryat Shmona and Bnei Sakhnin as well, but chose Ramat Gan, where he will work under coach Masai Dego, the man who gave him his chance in the Premier League.
At the same time, club officials are set to meet today with Maksim Falkoushchenko, who has finished his contract with Maccabi Netanya. Hapoel Ramat Gan will try to reach an agreement with the midfielder, who is expected to be a major part of the team’s midfield.
The club is also looking for foreign players who can form the core of the squad, alongside Israelis and players continuing from last season. So far, David Asnka, Nir Berda, Dudi Twito and goalkeeper Amit Raif are all expected to stay.
