Maccabi Netanya Pursues Inter Miami Midfielder David Ruiz

Israeli club Maccabi Netanya has reportedly approached Inter Miami regarding a potential transfer for midfielder David Ruiz. The 22-year-old Honduran player, who has played in MLS for three years, is under contract with Miami until 2028 but is not a regular starter. He has shared the field with prominent players such as Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez.

Meanwhile, Maccabi Netanya is still attempting to secure the loan of Brazilian defender Sydney Lima from Portuguese club Santa Clara. Max De Giglio, a partner of Ross Katin, has been leading negotiations, which have so far been unsuccessful. Netanya is resistant to a purchase option of approximately $500,000, despite the player being expected to arrive on a loan without a fee. Partizan Belgrade has also expressed interest in Lima.

In other team news, Maccabi Netanya is looking to move on from forward William Cyprien, who rejected an offer to terminate his contract for three months' salary.
