Maccabi Netanya Pursues Uri Azou and Offers Dolav Haziza Amid Transfer Window Activity
Maccabi Netanya is actively working on its roster for the 2026/27 season, continuing its transfer window efforts. So far, the club has signed Alon Azugi, Dor Hugy, and Grigory Morozov, but more changes are expected. Coach Roni Levi has released two foreign players, Pedrinho and Gonti Diomande, following the earlier sale of Riberto Tavares. The club has received offers for foreign players with salaries higher than ever paid by Netanya but is awaiting responses from those players.
Netanya is also negotiating for goalkeeper Nadav Zamir from Hapoel Jerusalem; if he does not sign, the club plans to bring in a foreign goalkeeper. Additionally, an offer has been made to Dolav Haziza, who has requested a few days to consider it. Another notable target is Dan Glazer, who is still undecided about joining. Maccabi Netanya is also seeking to loan Uri Azou for one year with a purchase option, but Maccabi Tel Aviv has so far rejected this proposal.
The club anticipates a very active and intense summer transfer window in the Sharon region as it aims to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
