IDF Eliminates Hamas Supply Chief in Gaza City Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a targeted strike in the Zeitoun area of Gaza City, eliminating Omar Muhammad Rushdi Sarraj, identified as the commander of Hamas's supply and logistics battalion in the city. According to the IDF, Sarraj was responsible for managing the flow of weaponry to Hamas operatives within Gaza City.
During the same operation, another Hamas militant involved in the military wing was also targeted. The IDF stated that these militants were advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, and were working to restore the organization's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire.
The strike is part of ongoing efforts by the IDF to dismantle Hamas's military infrastructure and disrupt its operations.
