Palestinians Stone Striped Hyena to Death Near Kidar Settlement

A striped hyena was killed in a brutal act of animal cruelty near the settlement of Kidar, east of Jerusalem, on Friday. According to reports, Palestinians set a trap, captured the hyena, and then repeatedly stoned it until it died. The graphic footage was published by Hillel Bitton Rosen, a reporter for Channel 14 News.

The incident has sparked outrage online due to the violence inflicted upon the animal. The striped hyena is a protected wild animal in Israel, and it is illegal to hunt, trap, or harm it. It is the largest terrestrial predator in Israel and the only species of hyena found in the country.
