Temperatures to rise across Israel, with moderate to heavy heat stress
Israel is expected to heat up on Tuesday, with temperatures rising nationwide and summer-like conditions strengthening through the day. In the western parts of the country, the morning will be partly cloudy, but skies should turn clear later as temperatures climb.
The forecast says most areas will experience moderate heat stress, while some places, including Beit She'an and Eilat, are expected to face heavy heat stress. The report says the warming trend has already begun and will affect much of the country.
Minor weather changes are expected over the next few days. Wednesday should bring a more noticeable rise in temperatures, then Thursday and Friday are forecast to see a slight cooling heading into the weekend. By Saturday, temperatures are expected to jump again, bringing heavy heat stress once more.
