Temperatures Rise Slightly in Israel with Increasing Heat Stress Expected
Following the morning cloud dispersal, Israel will experience mostly clear skies today with a slight temperature increase, especially in the mountainous regions and inland areas. Temperatures will be somewhat above the seasonal average, accompanied by a noticeable intensification of heat stress.
The heat buildup is expected to continue on Monday, July 13, with further warming primarily in the mountains and inland, increasing the heat burden in those areas. On Tuesday, July 14, and Wednesday, July 15, weather conditions are forecasted to remain largely unchanged.
Temperature ranges for major cities include Tel Aviv-Jaffa at 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, Haifa 25 to 28 degrees, Jerusalem 20 to 31 degrees, Ashdod 23 to 30 degrees, Beersheba 21 to 33 degrees, Ashkelon 24 to 29 degrees, Mitzpe Ramon 19 to 30 degrees, and Afula 24 to 35 degrees.
