Israel Faces Rising Heatwave With Multiple Heat Warnings Across Regions
Israel is experiencing intense heatwaves with temperatures rising slightly, especially in mountainous and inland areas. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly again on Sunday and Monday, particularly in the mountains and inland, where they will be somewhat above seasonal norms. Heat stress will continue to intensify, with the Jordan Valley remaining under a red heat warning on Monday. Forecasted temperatures include Jerusalem at 16-30°C, Tel Aviv at 24-30°C, Haifa at 22-29°C, Kiryat Shmona at 19-35°C, Safed at 17-31°C, Afula at 21-34°C, Ashdod at 22-30°C, Beersheba at 20-34°C, Mitzpe Ramon at 18-33°C, and Eilat reaching up to 40°C.
