Bennett Denies Considering Split With Lapid, Says Unity Is Key
Former prime minister Naftali Bennett told reporters in a statement that his alliance with Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid was not a mistake. He said the main beneficiary of splits within the political bloc is Benjamin Netanyahu, adding that the bloc must not only preserve unity but expand it further.
Asked whether he had considered dissolving the partnership with Lapid, Bennett rejected the report outright. “The publication is simply not true, it never happened, it was never on the table,” he said, stressing that “the only way to win is a united bloc.”
